Pancakes on a diet

Like, the pancakes were too fat, so I put them on a diet.

Though now that I think about it, you make pancakes thinner by putting more stuff (milk) in it. Or, I suppose, you could put less flour. Never mind.

I didn't get bread at Aldi yesterday because I thought, I have so much flour, you (I) should really use that to make carby things; it's much cheaper than bread. So with that in mind, I thought this morning, why don't I try to make my pancakes thinner and more numerous so I can save some sort of like slices of bread and use them when I want?

So that's what I did; I did the same thing as "always" but added more milk, didn't add baking soda, and only added a pinch of baking powder, because I didn't want it to rise (knowing that those two things are leaveners (apparently not a word?) is something I've learned since starting this blog).

I didn't know if it was going to make a crepe, or what. It didn't makes a crepe. It made a nice, very thin pancake. Five of them, instead of two.

I ate two and have three left. I would love to have made ten, but that's a loooooong proposition when you only have one small pan.

Dinner was the same chicken as yesterday; nothing too new there.
